Hey, It's Sean Assistant Operations Manager and host of The Get up and Go Show. I am so glad it's the weekend! It's been a really busy week and if you missed some of the show this week here is what you missed:
Addison Road
I got to talk to Jenny from Addison Road. She is incredibly sweet and too bad for me, incredibly married. We talked about their new album and I also got her thoughts on American Idol. Keep a look out for that to show up in our interviews on demand section at the Light Online.
There song All that Matters is tearing it up on the Christian Music Scene. If you have not heard it yet, take a listen. Trust me, it will get stuck in your head.
Washington D.C. is not all that far away and that is where Addison Road will be playing next weekend on the Planet Wisdom Tour. Find out more at http://www.planetwisdom.com/
Meredith Andrews
Yet another incredibly sweet girl who is also incredibly taken. All the best to her! Her new album drops later in April. Keep your eyes out for this interview online soon.
We talked about her new project and what is like touring with Aaron Shust. Her new song God With Us just dropped this week.
What in the World?
Can you believe it? What happens when $5 goes missing from a third grade teachers desk in Kentucky? The kiddies get shaken down and told they will go to jail. Someone is getting fired! Read about it here.
In Case you missed it:
At 8:15 I give you the what in the World Report-my commentary of what's going on in the world. Here's a rewind of some of the stories that caught my attention this week:
Jenny Craig spokeswoman Valerie Bertinelli was on Oprah's show and admitted that she cheated on ex-husband Eddie Van Halen. Even worse, she admitted to cheating on her Jenny Craig diet with Betty Crocker.
I am sure you remember me telling you that Barack Obama scored a grammy a few weeks ago. Well, not to be outdone Senator John McCain won an Oscar for......No Country for Old Men.
Last weekend Jessica Simpson's new movie Blond Ambition was the top movie in the Ukraine. Apparently, not doing as well in the U.S. You know who else blond amibition is not working so well for? Hillary Clinton.
Enjoy your weekend, Catch you Monday 7-10 AM

Music VIdeo of the week
Hey guys, Jesse here again. I have been thinking all week about about I should bring to this blog. All I knew is that as music director here at "the Light" I wanted it to be music related. I was on youtube one afternoon watching some music videos when it hit me, "I should have a music video of the week for the blog!". So Saturday I am going to post a music video that I think you all will/should enjoy from artists that you can hear everyday on "The Light"
This weeks pick is from a band I have followed since the beginning. They started out as small band from central florida and quickly signed onto Tooth and Nail. They are currently in the studio working on their major label debut album on Universal Records. This band is none other then Anberlin. They released a video for their single "The Unwinding Cable Car". It is a very powerful video and something I think anybody from any walk of life could get something out of it. I hope you enjoy it. This is Anberlin-"The Unwinding Cable Car"
